On April 30 1789 George Washington  took oath as the First president  of United States of America
George Washington (1732-99) was Chief of the ground forces throughout the yank Revolutionary War (1775-83) and served as 1st North American nation President from 1789 to 1797. The son of a prosperous planter, Washington grew up in colonial Virginia. As a young man, he once more worked as a surveyor so fought within the French-Indian War (1754-63). throughout the revolution, he attracted the colonial powers to overcome British and have become a national hero.

 In 1787, he was electoral president of the convention that written the yank Constitution. 2 years later, Washington became the primary president of the USA.
