First person to run a mile in less than 4 minutes

In Olympic in 1952, He set a British record in 1500 meter and finished in fourth position. This strengthen him to work hard for the achievement of first whole. In 1954, he became the first person to run a mile under 4 minutes. He did this on 6 May 1954 at Iffley Road track in Oxford. He exactly did this only in time of 3 minutes and 59.4 seconds. He attained this masterclass with minimal efforts while practicing as a Junior doctor. His record lasted only for 46 days.
When asked whether or not the 4-minute mile was his proudest accomplishment, he said he felt prouder of his contribution to educational medication through analysis into the responses of the nervous system.
