ON MAY 1940 McDold opened the first barbecue restaurant of this world largest food chain in the world.
McDonald's is the world largest chain of fast food restaurant. This food chain serve about 68 millions people each day in 119 countries all around the world. This company started operation as BARBECUE restaurant, run by two brothers Richard and M. McDonald in San Bernadino on 15 MAY,1940. The original restaurant was known as ''McDonld's Famous Barbecue'' and served over forty barbecued items.
In 1948 McDonlad's brothers realized that most of the profit came through by selling hand burger.So they closed their carhop drive and started a streamlined system with a simple menu of only handburger. Then French fries and Coca Cola were then added to menu.Soon 15 items more were added to the menu.In 1954,McDonald brothers lisenced Ray Lord to establish resturant through out the country. Soon McDonld became the most succesfull chain in the world.
